"I give Kusa Treks a 5 star + rating. If you are looking for a tour company that does more than take you to look at sites this is the one. Our 9-day short Inca Trail package was nothing short of amazing. Our guide Carlos did not just show us the sites with the standard speech. At each location he explained the period, architecture, and how each place fit into the history of the Inca. Understanding how everything fit together made the trip exceptional. You could see the pride of his ancestry when he spoke and that made all the difference."

"My dad and I went on this trek over New Years with our guide Ronny and the rest of our crew. Ronny was very knowledgeable and the rest of the team was also very helpful the whole time! All of the meals that we ate while hiking were well rounded and surprisingly tasty! Honestly we ate better on the trails than we did in the restaurants around Cusco and Lima! These trails are very difficult both physically and technically but Ronny did a great job of keeping us safe especially in the more technical parts of the trail. This trek was great because it showed us many other great parts of Peru, not just focusing on Incan history."

I first spoke to Michael over the phone, and he was able to directly answer all of my questions. I had been contacting over 10 guide companies for our planned Salkantay Trek. He was able to make sure each member of our group was going to be comfortable along the way and still be challenged. Michael and Erik helped customize our trip to fit our smaller window of time we had alloted to treking in Peru. To find a company like this, and have every step of the experience be exceeded by our expectations really made our trip. We were riding high for our remaining 2 weeks in Peru. "Our guide, Felipe, was the best. He and the crew took such good care of us along our 4 day journey. I can't say enough good about the people who served our every need for those days. The food was incredible, the accomodations as we camped were top notch, and the service all around just couldn't be topped. I highly recommend Kusa."
