DAY 1 THE JOURNEY BEGINS

  • Pick up from your Cusco hotel around 5AM

  • 2.5 hour drive to trailhead

  • 6-7 hours of hiking to first campsite

DAY 2 VILLAGE AND HOT SPRINGS

  • Early Start

  • Lunch and tour at a local village

  • Campsite near Lares Hotsprings

DAY 3 SHORT INCA TRAIL

  • Early hike, van ride to train station

  • Train to Short Inca Trail

  • View Machu Picchu from Sun Gate

DAY 4 TOUR OF MACHU PICCHU

  • Bus ride to Machu Picchu

  • Tour of Machu Picchu

  • Train back to Cusco
